Taapsee Pannu on Sushant Singh Rajput case: How wrong it is to overtake judiciary to convict someone who isn’t proven guilty; trust the law of the land | Hindi Movie News

Sushant Singh Rajput’s unnatural death is being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation. The agency has been interrogating the prime accused in the case, SSR’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. Meanwhile, new angles are emerging in the case with each passing day. Social media users and SSR fans have been demanding justice for the late actor.

Now, Taapsee Pannu took to Twitter and ask everyone to trust the law instead of speculating things. Retweeting the post shared by actress Lakshmi Manchu, she wrote, “I didn’t know Sushant on a personal level nor do I know Rhea but what I know is, it only takes to be a human to understand how wrong it is to overtake judiciary to convict someone who isn’t proven guilty. Trust the law of the land for your sanity and the deceased’s sanctity.”

Also, two days back, the Press Council of India took a strong objection to the coverage of the Sushant Singh Rajput case by many media outlets. It said the media should adhere to the norms of journalistic conduct in covering cases under investigation and is advised not to carry out its own “parallel trial”.
